BBC News Feed (Update)

Good afternoon all!

After a lot of thought, as well as a short “trial run” period, we’ve decided to discontinue the news feed from the BBC News website. But don’t worry! We’ll still continue to provide news from local Haverhill (and the surrounding area) news websites, so you’ll still be able to keep up with what’s going on in and around Haverhill.

BBC News Feed Update

Afternoon everyone,

While we’re aware that the BBC News feed is active and working well, we’ll be monitoring the site over the next few days to see how relevant we think the various news article are to Kedington and the surrounding areas.

If the news articles that get published are not particularly relevant to our local village and surrounding towns, then we may well consider pulling the feed from the “Latest News” page. Again, though, this will depend on how much our readers want the feed to be included, and how relevant to Kedington the news stories are.

If you’ve got any comments about the feed, or you know about other local news websites that have an RSS feed, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
